McKean–Vlasov Optimal Control: Limit Theory and Equivalence Between Different Formulations

چکیده

We study a McKean–Vlasov optimal control problem with common noise in order to establish the corresponding limit theory as well equivalence between different formulations, including strong, weak, and relaxed formulations. In contrast strong formulation, which is formulated on fixed probability space equipped two Brownian filtrations, weak formulation obtained by considering more general filtrations satisfying an (H)-hypothesis type condition from of enlargement filtrations. When uncontrolled, our suitable controlled martingale problem. As for classic problems, we prove that set all controls closure when considered measures canonical space. Consequently, obtain formulations under additional mild regularity conditions reward functions. This also crucial technical step problem, is, proving it consists large population noise.

Optimal control theory--closing the gap between theory and experiment.

Optimal control theory and optimal control experiments are state-of-the-art tools to control quantum systems. Both methods have been demonstrated successfully for numerous applications in molecular physics, chemistry and biology. Modulated light pulses could be realized, driving these various control processes. Next to the control efficiency, a key issue is the understanding of the control mech...

The Analogy Between Statistical Equivalence and Stochastic Strong Limit

A classical limit theorem of stochastic process theory concerns the sample cumulative distribution function (CDF) from independent random variables. If the variables are uniformly distributed then these centered CDFs converge in a suitable sense to the sample paths of a Brownian Bridge. The so-called Hungarian construction of Komlos, Major and Tusnady provides a strong form of this result. In t...

Equivalence of Three Different Kinds of Optimal Control Problems for Heat Equations and Its Applications

This paper presents an equivalence theorem for three different kinds of optimal control problems, which are optimal target control problems, optimal time control problems, and optimal norm control problems. Controlled systems in this study are internally controlled heat equations. With the aid of this theorem, we establish an optimal norm feedback law and build up some explicit algorithms for s...

Equivalence of multitime optimal control problems

Many science and engineering problems can be formulated as optimization problems that are governed by m-flow type PDEs (multitime evolution systems) and by cost functionals expressed as curvilinear integrals or multiple integrals. Though these functionals are mathematically equivalent on m-intervals, their meaning is totally different in real life problems. Our paper discusses the m-flow type P...

the relationship between locus of control and iranian efl university students’ beliefs about language learning

this exploratory study aimed to investigate a possible relationship between learners’ beliefs about language learning and one of their personality traits; that is,locus of control (loc). both variables, beliefs and locus of control, are assumed to influence the language learning process. the internal control index (ici) and the beliefs about language learning inventory (balli) were administered...
